Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts.
They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; -Isaiah 1:23
About 600 years ago, in the mid 15th century, Peruvians sacrificed 140 children because of climate change. After several years of El Nino events, flooding an mudslides, they offered the children to appease the gods. The story sounds uncannily familiar. Climate change is upon us therefore we must destroy unborn children to prevent global warming due to overpopulation.
The writer of the Proverbs told us that there is “nothing new under the sun.” The sacrifice of innocent children to the warped ideologies of adults is nothing new. Uganda has experienced a revival of child sacrifice, including an epidemic of sacrifices in conjunction with the festival and election period in December 2010. Does it sound familiar? As America prepared for the election season of 2020, we watched a mom of 7, including two children from Haiti, slandered, and attacked over a single issue, the right to take the life of a child in the womb. Oh, the irony and the tragedy of the scene that played our before our eyes, where half of the people in America are willing to sacrifice their children for their twisted pagan ideology. And to achieve their evil ends they revile and ridicule even a mother who loves her children, both natural born and adopted. This illustrates the issues of our day? Isn’t the post-modern, antiChrist-ian, Marxist, Darwinist, Freudian ideology nothing more than pagan superstition? It may be well dressed in academic robes but it is no more than a collection of absurd and incoherent ideas lashed together by a common thread—that each and every tenet is contrary to the moral law that has underpinned civilization for thousands of years. It consists of the advance and universal acceptance of fornication, homosexuality, pedophilia, murder by euthanasia and abortion, tribalism by skin color and class, as well as the abolition of the intrinsic value of human life and of Jesus from society. Modern secularism is a pagan, idolatrous culture, and ideology; indeed, it is a religion, against which all good people must stand in unison.
The sacrifice that this pagan culture makes on its alter is our children. As in all wars, including religious and culture wars, the children are the ones that suffer. They are defenseless; therefore, the evildoers devour them first. Consider where the pagan priests attacked first, it was in our schools. Without a fight and with barely a whimper we allowed them into our classrooms where they shoved a firehose of filth and untruth down the throats of our little children—unprepared and unable to defend themselves from this brainwashing, they are the adults and voters today. And all the while most pulpits were silent. To this day, most churches, including my own, are afraid to offend anyone or get in trouble and they do not address the biggest most consequential issues and topics of our day. The real-life issues that are destroying people’s lives are absent from the saccharin messages of most speakers and pastors today.
This systemic child sacrifice is indeed the great stain upon Western Culture and what remains of the Communist/Socialist societies. Perhaps we should hear Isaiah’s call to turn his country around in his day. According him it begins with people of conscience beginning to “defend the cause of the fatherless”. Will you still be silent?
"Cease to do evil, learn to do good." -Isaiah 1:16
Is the sexualization of our children the same as the child prostitution in the Hindu temples? I'll explore that in my next blog post.
